Microlite Aircraft Cleaning
At Spanky’s Detailing, we take immense pride in our microlite aircraft cleaning dry wash technique. Our dedicated team meticulously cleans and hand-wipes the entire Microlite aircraft from front to back using pH-neutral products, resulting in a perfect, streak-free shine.
The goal of our exterior cleaning is to eliminate dirt, bugs, exhaust streaks, oil stains, and spots from the aircraft’s surface. This not only improves the aircraft’s visual appeal but also extends the lifespan of its exterior body, paint, and related components.
Microlite Aircraft Polishing
Polishing Aircraft Surfaces: Unpainted and Painted Unpainted surfaces of the aircraft, often needs polishing to remove surface corrosion and some staining to enhance their look. We polish these areas when oxidation starts to appear, using either by machine polishing or by hand with a non-abrasive cleaning solution. We carefully mask off surfaces areas, such as light lenses, windows, to avoid any damage. The result is a mirror-like finish, with all polishing debris thoroughly cleaned away. Painted surfaces also require polishing to maintain the high gloss finish of the aircraft and to tackle stubborn stains, particularly around exhaust areas.
Polishing Unpainted Aluminum: Polishing unpainted aluminum is an essential part of our aircraft exterior cleaning process. We polish all relevant areas, including the leading edges of the wings, horizontal and vertical stabilizers, engine inlets, and cockpit window frames. To protect painted surfaces, we mask off these areas during the process. The aluminum is polished either by hand or with orbital buffers, using non-abrasive pads and a specialized non-abrasive aluminum cleaning polish. All our exterior cleaning procedures adhere to the manufacturer’s specifications.
