1. Booking Confirmation
All bookings will be confirmed via email or SMS within 24 hours from:
info@spankysdetailing.co.uk or 07359 204327.
A booking is not secured until confirmation has been issued.
2. Payment Terms
Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the service. We accept cash, bank transfer, and credit/debit card payments.
- Unpaid invoices beyond the same working day will result in:
- Removal of any discounts or offers
- A 20% late payment fee applied every 7 days
- PayPal Pay in 3 must be arranged before work begins
- Services over £100 may require a non-refundable 20% deposit
We reserve the right to withhold the vehicle and/or refuse future services until all outstanding balances are cleared.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required.
Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a fee of up to 100% of the booking value.
Deposits may be retained in cases of late cancellation or no-shows.
4. Vehicle Condition & Liability
A full inspection will be carried out before work begins.
- Existing damage will be recorded and communicated
- By approving the service, you accept the recorded condition
Upon completion:
- A final inspection will be conducted (where possible)
- Once signed off or once we leave, no liability is accepted for further claims
We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage
- Weak or failing materials
- Issues arising from compromised surfaces during cleaning
5. Service Location & Working Conditions
Mobile Services
The following conditions must be met:
- Minimum 2 metres clearance around the vehicle
- Vehicle must be off-road (private property only)
- No communal/shared parking areas
- Safe and unobstructed access
Failure to meet these requirements may result in cancellation and applicable fees.
Unit-Based Services
Vehicles must be delivered and collected at agreed times.
All vehicles remain at the owner’s risk unless agreed otherwise in writing.
We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
6. Weather Conditions (Mobile Services)
We reserve the right to reschedule if weather conditions impact safety or quality.
Appointments will be rearranged at the earliest convenience.
7. Maintenance Plan Terms
48 hours’ notice is required for changes.
Missed services may incur additional charges due to increased work required.
8. Complaints & Claims
All concerns must be raised within 24 hours of service completion.
Claims outside this timeframe may not be accepted.

9. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if:
- Conditions are unsuitable
- Terms are not followed
- Behaviour is inappropriate
10. Ceramic Coating Warranty Terms
Coverage
Durability claims are estimates, not guarantees.
Warranty applies only to coating performance failure under correct maintenance.
Conditions
To maintain warranty validity:
- Follow all aftercare guidance
- Use coating-safe products
- Maintain regular washing
- Attend any required maintenance visits
Failure to comply may void warranty.
Exclusions
Not covered:
- Scratches, swirls, or wash damage
- Stone chips or impact damage
- Chemical or environmental damage
- Neglect or improper care
Ceramic coatings do not make vehicles scratch-proof.
Liability
Liability is limited to reapplication of the affected area only.
No additional compensation will be provided.
11. Paint Correction & Machine Polishing Disclaimer
Risks
Machine polishing removes a layer of clear coat and carries risks including:
- Exposure of prior repairs
- Failure of weak paint
- Limited defect removal
- Rare risk of paint failure on compromised areas
Pre-Existing Issues
We are not responsible for:
- Poor previous repairs
- Thin or failing paint
- Hidden defects
Work may be stopped if risks arise.
Results
Paint correction is an improvement service, not perfection.
Some defects may remain to preserve paint safety.
Liability
By proceeding, you accept all associated risks.
We are not liable for pre-existing or unavoidable issues.
12. Smart Repairs Disclaimer
Scope
Smart repairs address minor cosmetic damage only and are not full resprays.
Colour Matching
Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed due to factors such as paint age and exposure.
Minor variations may be visible under certain lighting.
Limitations
Not suitable for:
- Large or deep damage
- Structural issues
We may refuse or stop work if unsuitable.
Durability
Smart repairs are cosmetic and may not match full body shop durability.
Liability
Results are improvement-based.
Liability is limited to reworking the repaired area only.
No further compensation will be provided.
13. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Smart Repair Terms and Conditions
Estimates
Estimates provided before a thorough inspection of the damage are for informational purposes only and may be subject to change. The final price will be determined after an in-person evaluation of the vehicle.
Booking Date
The booking confirmation will encompass all arrangements, including the cost, date, time, and location, contingent upon favorable weather conditions, as services are conducted outdoors.
Cancellation Rights
You retain the right to cancel this agreement by reaching out via email or telephone at any time up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled booking date.
Repair Location
Repairs can be performed at any mutually agreed-upon location, provided it is deemed appropriate and safe. If this is not feasible, Spankys Detailing will designate an alternative site for the repairs.
In the event that Spankys Detailing is unable to perform the repairs on the scheduled date due to circumstances such as inclement weather, they will not be held liable for any costs or inconveniences incurred by the customer. Spankys Detailing will arrange for the repairs to be completed at a later date that is convenient for both parties.
Repairs
Repairs will not replicate the automotive factory finish, which is achieved through machine spraying to tolerances beyond human capability. Spankys Detailing will deliver a high-quality, hand-finished repair.
End-of-lease inspectors, as trained professionals, may be able to identify repairs.
Improvements
Improvements such as stone chip touch-ups and other enhancements do not qualify as repairs, and the extent of improvement is not guaranteed.
Guarantee
Spankys Detailing provides a six-month warranty on repairs, with the following exclusions:
No guarantees are offered against damage or deterioration resulting from:
– Corrosion or rust
– Touch-ups
– Cigarette burns
– Additional accidents or impacts to the repaired area
– Improper aftercare that contradicts the instructions provided upon completion of the work
Payment
A deposit of 20% is required, with the balance payable in full upon completion of the repair. Payments can be made via cash, cheque, or BACS, depending on availability.
